What people said.......

These are a few of the folk who have already blessed us with a visit or have been involved with us in some way!  We are so grateful to you all for all that you've done, and hopefully will continue doing with us, for these children.

"Visiting the creche opened up my eyes as to the poverty that many kids in SA endure, however seeing the smiling kids made me realise there is hope. Without support of good people such as Cassy and the support of business such smiles would not be possible."

The difference between knowing that every second child lives in poverty & actually seeing it with your own eyes is an incredibly impactful experience. It was the first time I’d seen people with no water or electricity, and the knowledge that I often spend more on a take away lunch than these people live on in a week was truly humbling. Having not only a safe place to go to, but one where they will receive both food & stimulating activities is literally the difference between life & death.

Working with Cassy was an experience I'll never forget. We painted murals at an orphanage & a creche & both were great fun & hugely rewarding. Most memorably was our time at the creche, where curious faces eagerly watched us painting. If the children, even before we were finished, were eager to start using the chalkboard letters, you can imagine how much the work means to them on a daily basis. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of your invaluable work. I'll treasure the memories! Beth H

"Coming from the UK, where we are kept in a carefully controlled media environment, I was to say the least naïve about the challenges faced by South Africa and the work that Cassy and the team do. To say that Cassy and the team are a true inspiration is an understatement. Having visited the crèche and seen the work that has gone on to encourage improvements in the lifestyle, health and education of the many babies and children in the community was unbelievable and emotionally challenging."

“Cassy is a passionate, committed and inspirational Leader. She is always happy to offer support & guidance to those in need. Cassy works in an often thankless field with scarce resources. She is often surrounded by situations that would make a grown man get chills & yet she remains upbeat, driven and focused on change. It was she who motivated me to go outside of my own comfort zone & do things I never imagined that I had the emotional strength to do. I would recommend her to any organisation."

I want to thank you for putting us in touch with Container Ministry. Through this connection we are sending shipping container loads of wheelchairs and mobility aids which are distributed throughout kwaZulu Natal, southern Mozambique and Zimbabwe. You have excellent contacts, but more than that you have the energy and wisdom to put sensible connections together to help so many people. Many thanks Cassy. It is good to know you. I wish you really well with all your endeavours. Best wishes, Jim

"As a father it really hit home just how lucky we are & how we should all be helping those that don’t have the same benefits as us.  The work that Cassy does for the local communities in areas that others would not venture is a remarkable thing, she demonstrates how a true human should act with compassion, love & determination to make a difference.  If you get the opportunity to support the work that Stimulating Solutions do, I would highly recommend grabbing the opportunity with both hands."

Thanks for your help & support over the years in so many ways. We still enjoy the wonderful mosaics that you made here with the children's groups back in 2004 which are still on our woodland sculpture trail. The pieces look great, but more than this the way that you managed to make sure that everyone in the groups played a full part in the activities despite their different ages & physical abilities meant there was much more to be taken from the sessions. It was a pleasure to watch! Thanks
